Iranian athletes won colorful medals in the Hangzhou Para-Asian Games, which officially started on October 21.

Iran PressAsia: The fourth edition of the Para-Asian Games in Hangzhou, China was officially opened on Saturday, and from today, Monday, November 1, the Iranian caravan under the title "Children of Iran" began its competition with the participation of 210 athletes in 16 categories. This competition will continue until November 6.

Sara Abdolmaleki won the broze medal in the kayak section of the Para-Asian Games in Hangzhou.

Mehdi Olad also stood in the second place with a record of 13.30 meters and won the silver medal.

 

Iranian athlete, Hashemiyeh Motaghian Moavi, has clinched a gold medal in the Women’s Javelin Throw F56 event at the 2022 Asian Para Games.

Amanollah Papi, an Iranian athlete, has succeeded in breaking a record and winning the fourth gold medal for the Iranian team at the Fourth Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China.

In men’s javelin throw F57 class, Papi represented Iran and contested against opponents from Indonesia, Palestine, Vietnam, India, and Yemen.

Elnaz Darabian broke the Para-Asian Games record and won the gold medal in the discus throw.

Vahid Alinajimi crossed the finish line as the second runner in the T13 class 100 meters with a time of 11.27 seconds and won a silver medal.

Hanan Kaab Amir, another representative of Iran, also won a silver medal.

Syed Maitham Banitaba faced Kapil Parmar from India in the final of the 60-kg weight class of J1 Para judo and managed to win the gold medal by defeating him.

Saeed Kohkan faced an opponent from South Korea in the 60-kg weight classification match of the J2 Parajudo class and won the bronze medal.

In the SB9 class 100m breaststroke event, Sina Dighminejad won the gold medal ahead of Shahin Izdiyar and Chinese Star. Iran's paraswimming star Shahin Izdiyar won the silver medal in this event.
