Iran Press/Europe: Iran's new ambassador to France, Bahram Ghassemi made the remark on Saturday in a meeting of international students at the Paris Institute for Political Studies.
Ghassemi stated that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has so far endorsed in 14 reports Iran's commitment to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and Europeans must make operational the necessary mechanisms needed for Iran to economically benefit from the JCPOA as soon as possible -- something which had been guaranteed under the agreement.
Pointing to America's illegal withdrawal from JCPOA, Ghassemi said the United States has not only violated a Security Council resolution, but also called on other countries to openly violate the UNSC resolution and to ignore their international obligations.
The Iranian diplomat also briefed the international students about Iran's actions to preserve regional stability, and active collaboration with other countries to fight terrorism.
Britain, France and Germany promised to secure JCPOA by guaranteeing the economic interests of Iran after America's illegal and unilateral withdrawal from the multinational treaty, but have not yet succeeded in taking practical steps to maintain the UNSC endorsed agreement. 103/211/213
