Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking to journalists on Saturday, Iran's Deputy Defense Minister Brigadier General Ghasem Taghizadeh said: “Concerning ground-based cruise missiles, efforts are underway to enhance the range and precision of these missiles using new digital mapping systems and with God’s grace, the experimental stage of the project will soon be finished.”

Pointing to surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, Iranian Deputy Defense Minister said: “Our main effort in this area is to increase the precision of the missiles, to pinpoint accuracy, and our work is almost finished,” Iran Press reported.

“We use state-of-the-art technologies in all these projects and we are among the top five countries in terms of missile technology,” Brigadier General Ghasem Taghizadeh added.

The Deputy Defense Minister went on to say: “We have obtained the technology of laser air defense systems to destroy drones and quadcopters.”

“The research and experimental phase for this weapon has finished and it is now in the production line,” he highlighted.
