Tehran (IP) – The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran extended his condolences to the Libyan Prime Minister and people.

Iran PressIran News: A massive flood ripped through the city of Derna and other parts of Libya on Saturday following a heavy storm and rain, destroying the country's infrastructures, including the communicative routes. 

Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi issued a message and condoled the death, injury, and disappearance of a number of Libyan people after the storm and flood. 

He addressed Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid al-Dbeibah: "The Islamic republic of Iran is ready to offer aid and relief to the flood-hit people and send them medical help and other necessary stuff." 

The death toll of the Daniel storm has exceeded 2,000.
