Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's deputy chief of Hormozgan Department of ports and maritime affairs, Allah-Morad Afifi-pour, said on Sunday that 16 crew members on the foreign merchant ship were rescued in the Persian Gulf waters, reported Iran Press.
Afifi-pour went on to explain that after two vessels, the merchant ship 'Royal Arsenal' and oil tanker 'Gas Infinity' collided with each other while passing through the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday morning. It is also worth noting that one of the vessels was carrying the flag of 'Liberia' and the other was carrying the flag of 'St Vincent.'
