Iran Press/ Iran news: For his part, the Iranian parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stressed the importance of the Palestinian legitimate right to resist and the Islamic Republic’s continued support of Palestine and the Palestinian resistance.“Iran sees the Palestinian issue as the first issue of the Islamic world, and support for Palestine is one of its most important priorities,” The Speaker said.
The two sides also discussed the legal and political means to prosecute the Zionist occupation for its crimes and violation of human rights, as well as ways to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and to develop relations between the Palestinian and Iranian people.
The two sides stressed the importance of the historical stage that the Palestinian cause is going through, and the need for the nation to unite under the aegis of Al-Quds and to confront the nation’s common enemy, which is the Zionist regime.
The Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf held a meeting with the visiting Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ziad al-Nakhala in Tehran Thursday.
During the meeting, Palestinian Islamic Jihad Secretary-General Ziad Al-Nakhalah explained how the strength of the Resistance front is forcing the Israeli regime to advance toward its final doom progressively. Palestinian official Ziad Al-Nakhalah during his meeting with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of the Iranian parliament, on Thursday morning in Tehran, said: "The Palestinian Resistance Front was able to target many military sites in the Zionist regime in that battle and dealt serious damages to their military equipment."
Earlier, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei received the head of Palestinian Hamas' political bureau Ismail Haniya on Tuesday evening.
Ismail Haniyeh also met with the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday.
The head of Hamas' political bureau arrived in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Tuesday and was welcomed by Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. 219
