Iran Press/ Iran News: In his speech at the Saturday's meeting of National headquarters for Fighting Coronavirus, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani reported the potential infection of 30-35 million Iranians.
He stressed that there is yet no certain treatment for the disease and no collective immunization is obtained.
"Of course, by the end of this year and probably next year, we may be affected by the disease because the exact time of the end of the disease is not known and we may see a doubling of it," Rouhani noted.
"The country has been facing the dangerous virus for five months, and there is yet concern inside the country and around the world because there are still other steps to take," he said.
According to the Health Ministry spokeswoman, Sima Sadat Lari on Friday, the provinces of Khuzestan, East Azerbaijan, Kerman, Khorasan Razavi, Ilam, Bushehr, Zanjan, Golestan, Mazandaran, and Fars Provinces are in the red alarm condition.
The provinces of West Azerbaijan, Kermanshah, Tehran, Hormozgan, and Kurdestan Provinces the partial reduction of infection, hospitalization, and death are being witnessed. 207/216
