The European Union's ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency has called for an immediate solution to the dispute between Iran and the IAEA, not mentionaning the projections made by the United States and its allies against the Islamic Republic.

Iran PressEurope: Speaking at the International Atomic Energy Agency's board meeting on Thursday, Stephen Clement called on Iran to work fully and urgently in line with its commitments under the Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement and the Additional Protocol, including quick access to the Agency's desired locations.

He added that the European Union has considered two rounds of technical talks between IAEA and Iran following the publication of the IAEA's March report claiming " We are also aware that the IAEA has made every effort to provide additional information to Iran on the technical basis of the IAEA's inquiries and requests for access. We welcome the Agency's willingness to resolve disputes with Iran impartially and professionally."

However, in a statement echoing repeated allegations against Iran, the EU ambassador added that we are deeply sorry that Iran had not allowed access to the two places for the past four months under the Additional Protocol and had not been seriously negotiated in the past year to clarify possible questions about the non-disclosure of nuclear materials and undeclared nuclear activities.

He allegedly claimed that this behavior had a negative impact on the IAEA's ability to shed light on and resolve disputes with Iran.

"EU member states strongly support the proposed resolution of the three countries of Britain, France, and Germany on the basis of an immediate settlement of the dispute with Iran," Clement allegedly said.

The European Troika, which is one of the signatories of JCPOA, has prepared a draft resolution to be submitted to the IAEA Board of Governors, in which it calls for "full cooperation" between Iran and the IAEA.

Iran has strongly criticized the Europeans' move, saying the IAEA's request was based on claims made by the Zionist regime and US pressure that it would seek to extend the Islamic Republic's arms embargo after the expiration of its nuclear deal, despite withdrawing from the  JCPOA .
