Iran's ambassador to Britain wrote that there is a wide disagreement over Iran in the White House.

Iran Press/Europe:  Hamid Baeidinejad posted on Instagram that Donald Trump has sought to put the brakes on a brewing confrontation with Iran in recent days, telling the acting defense secretary, Patrick Shanahan, that he does not want to go to war with Iran. While saying so, the top Iranian diplomat referred to the briefing and meeting that had been attended by Trump and the senior officials over the issue.

Being asked by one of the users, over the reliability of the rumour saying that there is a serious disagreement over John Bolton in the White House, Baeidinejad concluded that the disagreement is really deep and serious, Iran Press reported.

Iran's top diplomat's remarks came on the same day that Iranian ambassador to the UN, Majid Takht - e - Ravanchi in an interview with 'Face The Nation' moderator Margaret Brennan, said both the US president and Iran do not want war.

This the issue has been also raised by Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday trashed The Washington Post and The New York Times for reporting on alleged infighting within the White House over the administration’s policy in the Middle East.

Furthermore, asked on Thursday whether the United States was going to war with Iran, Trump replied, “I hope not.”105/203
