Pakistan (IP) - The birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS) was celebrated in Pakistan's Lahore and Pishevar with the participation of the people including scientific elites and religious figures.

Iran PressAsia: February 4, 2023, coincided with Rajab 13, 1444 AH, is the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS), the first Imam of the world's Shia. 

In Pishevar, a poetry circle was held in different languages including Farsi, Urdu, Pashto, and English with the presence of poets and writers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Imam Ali (AS) was born in Kaaba, Mecca. When his mother Fatima bint Asad was to give him birth, the wall of the Kaaba house was split in respect for his mother and she entered this holy house, and there, Imam Ali (AS) was born.

It is interesting that Al Saud has not yet succeeded to conceal the split from the eyes of the Muslims after over 14 centuries.

He was the first person who believed in Islam and was considered the main assistant of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in all stages of promoting Islam.

The occasion of Imam Ali's (AS) birthday is named 'Father's Day' in the Iranian calendar.
