Iran Press/ Europe: The US has already shipped 100 AeroVironment Switchblade loitering munitions to Ukraine, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said during a briefing Wednesday.
According to the spokesman, the drones will be delivered to Ukraine soon or have probably been delivered already.
He did not specify which type of Switchblade drones were shipped to Ukraine, but he noted that the US may send drones designed for the elimination of tanks and armored vehicles.
Kirby also noted that US specialists trained a small group of Ukrainian soldiers who arrived at the US back in autumn in using these drones, adding that they will be able to return home and train other Ukrainian soldiers soon.
The acquisition of killer "Switchblade" drones is expected to boost the Ukrainian military as it continues its fight against thousand of Russian troops, massive Russian tanks, rampant shelling, and airstrikes.
