The political deputy foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote on Twitter after Saturday's meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission in Vienna that after several days of intensive talks, we now seem to be on the right track.

Iran PressEurope: "It is too early to predict the outcome; the expert groups will continue to work hard to clarify important issues,"  Seyed Abbas Araghchi added.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran in a statement on Saturday evening said that a new understanding is being shaped, adding: "Negotiations have now reached a stage where the parties can start working on a joint text, the Iranian delegation has prepared its text and presented it to all parties."

The meeting of the Joint Commission was held at noon on Saturday in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

The meeting was attended by Enrique Mora, EU Deputy Foreign Minister, and representatives from Iran, France, Germany, the UK, China and Russia.

Following the meeting, Mora took to Twitter to review the JCPOA Joint Commission meeting in Vienna, writing: "Progress in the JCPOA negotiations has not been easy. More details are needed now. "But the key to our success is that all parties want the United States to return to JCPOA and adhere to the nuclear deal."

During Donald Trump's presidency, Washington unilaterally imposed economic terrorism with the aim of putting maximum pressure on the people of Iran.

The new US president has criticized the White House's previous policy toward Iran, but said his return to JCPOA is conditional on Iran's action, without mentioning which government had promised to leave JCPOA; however, Biden has promised that if Iran returns to full implementation of the JCPOA, Washington would return to the agreement.

The Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes that "it will return to its obligations when the United States lifts all sanctions in practice, not verbally or on paper, and these lifting of sanctions is verified by Iran."
