Iran Press/ Asia: China conducted air and sea military exercises in waters around Taiwan on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Chinese military said that the reason for the exercise was "foreign interference" and "provocative actions" by Taiwan's separatist forces.
China views Taiwan as part of its territorial integrity and has repeatedly warned the United States and its allies of signals that could mislead separatist movements in the region.
According to China, Taiwan's secession will result in nothing but war. Separatist currents are provoking the country's dependent regions such as Taiwan, Tibet, and Hong Kong.
