Talking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) in an exclusive interview Ghalib Qandil said the Resistance Axis has managed to stand against a 'colonial-Zionist-reactionary war'.
'This is a war, led by the United States and fought by the Takfiri terrorist groups,' Qandil said.
'They are after demolishing armies, societies and national governments and submerging them in barbarism, attrition and chaos over the next decades,' he added.
The Lebanese analyst also described the Resistance Axis as a role model for steadfastness and heroism in defending the region and nations.
The national armies and popular resistance forces have worked together to represent a historic solution to the fight against the Takfiri terrorists and overpowering them, Qandil said.
