Iran Press/ Middle East: Yemeni National Salvation Government Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammad Nasser al-Atefi said on Monday that the heavy fighting waged by Yemeni forces on various fronts is unparalleled in contemporary history.
He added that unity is the main reason behind Yemini nation's victory.
Maj. Gen. Al-Atefi has vowed the defeat of aggressors, saying: "We are speaking from a position of strength, and we are prepared for what we can do, you have the money, we have the men, and you will see what you can't imagine from the Army and Popular Committees, and the free and honorable people of Yemen. You will soon see important operations by Yemeni army and grassroots committees."
Yemeni National Salvation Government defense minister also mentioned the Sudanese mercenaries and stated that we warn the mercenaries that they would suffer heavy casualties if they do not leave Yemen.
Yemeni defense minister warns Saudi aggressors while reminding the major operation, known as Nasr Min Allah, by Ansarullah anti-coalition aggression forces in Najran, Saudi Arabia.
The operation, dubbed as Ansarullah's largest anti-Saudi coalition operation, resulted in the capture of 3,000 Saudi coalition mercenaries. Meanwhile, Ansarullah unilaterally released 290 prisoners of war in line with the exchange of prisoners agreement.
In his speech to the fighters in frontlines in Najran, the Minister of Defense praised the bravery and courage of the heroes of the Army and Popular Committees and the great victories they achieved with the help of God; defending the sovereignty, independence, unity of the homeland and freedom and pride of the Yemeni People. He pointed out that the fierce battles waged by the heroes of the Armed Forces on various fronts has no parallel in contemporary history.
Yemeni Defense minister regarding the bravery of Yemeni people said, "The Yemeni fighter faced the most modern equipment and means of warfare and advanced capabilities of the enemy with his personal weapon, his strongest weapon will remain his trust in God and the justice of his cause which is fighting for."
Defense Minister pointed to the barbaric acts and brutal crimes committed by the aggression against the deceived who fought with them against their homeland and their people, especially in the borders and the West Coast Frontlines, where hundreds of them were burned with the aggression's warplanes, noting the most recently what happened in the battle of Najran, targeting the area with 152 airstrikes in flagrant violation of all humanitarian norms and laws.
The Minister of Defense pledged to all Yemenis at home and abroad to continue the steadfastness of the Army and Popular Committees in defending national sovereignty against the coalition of aggression and to preserve the unity, security, and stability of Yemen.
