Beirut(IP): Foreign Minister of Iran, in a meeting with the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, emphasized that America and the Israeli regime have agreed to a ceasefire without achieving their goals.

Iran PressWest Asia: The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" and the Israeli regime finally agreed to a four-day temporary ceasefire after 45 days of fighting.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Beirut on Wednesday as the first destination of his regional trip, after consulting with the leaders of the Palestinian resistance and Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Parliament, met and talked with the Prime Minister Lebanon, Najib Mikati.

According to Iran Press, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also said in a meeting with Lebanon's parliament speaker Nabih Berri that according to the evaluations of experts in the United States, the Zionist regime suffered an unprecedented internal collapse after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.

Iranian Foreign Minister added: "The US stood by the Zionist regime indefinitely and unconditionally so that the illusory slogans and ambitious dreams of the Zionist regime come true, but now the US has come to the conclusion that the Israeli regime is unable to realize the minimum of its slogans and the current situation cannot continue. As a result, without achieving a single bit of their declared goals, they agreed to accept a temporary ceasefire."

Referring to the American behind-the-scenes political designs for Gaza and Hamas and the Palestinian resistance, Amir-Abdollahian said: "The future of Gaza and Palestine is determined by the Palestinian people, not America and the Zionist regime."

In this meeting, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament also thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its strong political support for Palestine and Iran's wise role regarding the ongoing developments in Gaza and the region and said: "The Palestinian resistance and people inside Gaza were able to survive despite all the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the citizens. The Palestinians committed to manage the battlefield for their own benefit, and in this situation, the political arena should also be in the same direction and within the framework of the will of the Palestinian people."
