Iran-Afghanistan Trade Surges to $3.5 Billion Afghanistan’s Ministry of Trade says bilateral trade with Iran has risen to $3.5 billion in 2025, reflecting one of the strongest economic corridors in the region. According to ministry spokesman Abdul Salam Jawad Akhundzada, Afghanistan exported $53 million worth of goods to Iran last year, while Afghan imports from Iran reached $3.454 billion.
