The top commander of Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC ) has emphasized that the entire country is indebted to the martyrs of eight years of sacred defense, since it was their sacrifice which brought about the power and authority of the Islamic Republic today.

Iran/ According to an Iran Press report, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, Iran Revolutionary Guards Commander, speaking on the sidelines of the martyrs' funeral ceremony, on Thursday said the Islamic Republic is at the height of its power and authority today, and we owe this authority to the sacrifices made by the martyrs of the revolution.

Speaking on Thursday morning on the sidelines of a funeral procession for the 135 unidentified martyrs of the eight-year-imposed-war, Major General Jafari added: "We are all indebted to the martyrs. The whole nation is indebted to them. Iran's defensive capabilities, equipment and technology and the use of highly accurate missiles, which our people saw in two different stages, was obtained at the cost of the martyrs' blood."

Major General Jafari added: "As long as there are people to continue the path of the martyrs, the enemies will not be able to do a damn thing, they cannot harm Iran, and the other countries of the region who are standing up to global arrogance and domination are inspired by the martyrs of the Islamic revolution.
