Iran Press/ Iran :In a message released on Friday, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi underlined the power of the Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base (the central headquarters of Iran’s Air Defense) and said the country’s airspace is protected by “the impenetrable wall’ of the base.
He added,“The hostilities and threats of the enemies against the Islamic Republic of Iran in the 40 years since the Islamic Revolution have never stopped for a moment, and this necessitates the constant vigilance of all the defense forces of the country."
“The Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base has been established with wisdom, prudence and the accurate and deep understanding by Commander-in-chief of Iran’s Armed Forces Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei…,” the commander said.
“…The Iranian airspace is surrounded by a fence of security and an impenetrable wall (of protection created by) the Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base,” he added.
He also offered his congratulations over the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base.
On May 29, Ayatollah Khamenei appointed Brigadier General Sabahi Fard as the new commander of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base.
