Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that Washington current policy even towards its' allies cannot continue like this.

"The U.S. sanctions targeted the Iranian people but Washington's policy towards Iran, the region, the Islamic world and even towards its' allies cannot continue like this", Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said after the joint meeting between heads of the three branches of the government.

President Rouhani added:  "The path of economic cooperation  with the rest of the world will be continued, the same as before. The currency required for people's essential needs is secured."

President Rouhani further noted:  "The current situation created an opportunity for producers and exporters inside the country to do their job even better. Projects for creating jobs will continue. There is a plan to submit unfinished projects".

The Iranian President  added:  "The joint meetings between the heads of the three branches of government  will be continued."

Another joint meeting between heads of the three branches of government drew to a close a few hours ago in Tehran.

Regarding Rouhani remarks about US policy towards the world, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in an interview with the France-based BFMTV  on Friday said that Trump only believes in conflict relationships and is trying to destroy multilateral efforts to encourage trade, fight climate change and Iran’s nuclear activities.
