Army drill displays Iran authority with peace message

The military drills of the Army of the Islamic Republic were held in the northwestern region of Iran with emphasis on readiness, display of power and peacemaking.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iran's Army ground forces units in northwestern Iran were successfully deployed on Wednesday in the public area of ??Orumieh, displaying their defensive readiness and speed of reaction.

The ground forces of the Iranian Army deployed new military equipment in the exercise, and the successful launching of precision targeting cannonballs was one of the major achievements of the drills in northwest Iran.

Brigadier General Nozar Nemati, Deputy Commander of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said on Wednesday: "Today, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved self-sufficiency in developing the necessary military equipment and will try new equipment according to the type of threat."

The exercises are held for two important purposes: first, to review new military equipment and to test the readiness of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Secondly, the message of all the military maneuvers of Iran's Army, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps and the Iranian police force (Naja), is peace and friendship with countries of the region and neighbors, as well as a warning to the enemies; not to make mistakes in their calculations.

Contemporary history and the Islamic Revolution show that Iran has never initiated a war and has always defended itself against enemy attacks at some point in history.

Iran regards the region's peace and security as its own peace and security, and anything that adds to its capability in the military and defense dimension is rooted in this fundamental principle.

Establishing durable stability and peace in West Asia and the Persian Gulf region is the dominant approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran, where maritime security in the Persian Gulf waters and the continued free flow of energy from this strategic region are in the same framework.
