IP - Pakistani media reported that the Pakistani PM will meet Iran's president on Thursday at Sistan and Balochistan.

Iran PressAsia: Earlier, Iranian sources had announced the visit of the President of Iran to the province of Sistan and Balochistan on the borders of Iran and Pakistan.

According to sources, the meeting of the two leaders is expected to be held on Thursday in the Pishin area of Balochistan.

The Pakistani prime minister will jointly inaugurate the project of importing 110 megawatts of electricity from Iran.

A week ago, Aninews reported the possibility of Raisi's meeting with Shahbaz Sharif this month.

Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif and Iran's President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi will jointly inaugurate the Mand-Pishin Border Sustainability Marketplace and Polan-Gabad electricity transmission line tomorrow.

Pakistan is currently importing 200MW of electricity from Iran and there is scope to increase power import to 500MW.

The sources further said the Iranian president and PM Sharif will officially inaugurate the Iran-Pakistan Border Market. Three new trade markets are also being established on the border, SAMAA reported.

One such market has been inaugurated at the Mand area on the border, while work is underway on opening two others.

On the other hand, Shehbaz Sharif will also visit Gwadar tomorrow, according to sources.
