Tehran (IP) - Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on the occasion of the Eid al Fitr, received a group of Iranian officials and ambassadors of Islamic countries to Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: The meeting took place at Imam Khomeini Husseiniyeh a few hours after Iran's Leader led Eid al-Fitr prayers in the capital Tehran.

Iran's Leader hailed the Iranian people for their massive turnout in Quds rallies, which were held last Friday.

In this meeting, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei called the issue of Gaza an unavoidable issue that is the top priority of the Islamic world.

Ayatollah Khamenei, referring to unprecedented anti-Israel marches in Africa, Asia, Europe, and even the US, added that the hearts of the nations, even the non-Muslim nations, are with the oppressed of Palestine and Gaza.

Iran's leader went on to say: "By helping the Israel regime, some Islamic states betray to Islamic Ummah and their own countries, he said, adding that because these aids are helping to destroy themselves."

In another part of his address, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the Islamic governments should cut off their economic, and political relationship with the Israeli regime.

The Iranian Leader said: "This is expected from Islamic states. It is not our expectation either, it is the expectation of Muslim nations. If they hold a referendum in Islamic countries now, without a doubt, everyone will agree that their governments should cut ties with the Zionist regime. There is no doubt about this."
