Kermanshah (IP) - The first international Shahnameh reading festival of Taq-e Bostan is being held in Kermanshah with the presence of a group of local and foreign Shahnameh readers.

According to Iranpress, 430 works in the domestic section and 22 works in the foreign section were sent to the secretariat of the Taq-e Bostan International Shahnameh Reading Festival, of which 30 works in the domestic section and eight works in the international section made it to the final stage and will be performed on Thursday and Friday.

Nezamoddin Zahedi, the ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran, Saad Khan, the head of the Eco-Cultural Institute, Hamidreza Gholamzadeh, the secretary general of the Association of Asian Mayors are among the special guests of Taq-e Bostan International Shahnameh Reading Festival.

Ambassadors and diplomats visited the historical site of Taq-e Bostan and Tekiye Moaven Al Molk of Kermanshah on the sidelines of the festival.
