Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman condemned the US congressional action against China.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi slammed a recent bill adopted in the US House of Representatives against China, and said that, with a disgraceful record in the genocide of indigenous people, the massacres of Muslims in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Palestine and Yemen and the pardoning of war criminals, America is the least qualified to comment on ethnicity, races, and Muslims, Iran Press reported.

He also said: "Repeating such blatant violations of internationally recognized principles is merely an affirmation that interference with the affairs of other nations has become a norm in American foreign policy."

Mousavi, while condemning the recent US congressional action against China, warned the international community of the growing trend of such behavior that threatens world peace and stability, and urged independent nations against further norms, to respond to the unyielding unilateralism of the US government.

The remark came as the US House of Representatives approved a bill that requires President Trump to toughen response to Xinjiang, where Washington claims China is holding re-education camps for Muslims.

In response, the Chinese Foreign Ministry summoned a senior US embassy official.205/216
