Russia agrees to deliver second series of S-400 missile systems to Turkey

The head of the Russian arms export company announced the signing of the second agreement for the transfer of the S400 missile system to Turkey.

Iran Press/Asia: Discussions on financial issues are underway between the two sides, Alexander Mekhiev, head of Rosoboron Export, said at the Russian Military Arms Exhibition which starts today on the outskirts of Moscow.

In 2017, Turkey signed a $ 2.5 billion contract with Russia to receive the S-400 missile system, which was delivered to Turkey in full last year.

The purchase of the S400 missile system was strongly opposed by Washington, but Ankara did not back down.
