A senior official of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) stated on Friday that the enemies of Islam founded ISIS terrorist group as a tool for destruction, but they failed to achieve their goals, thus they tried to accuse popular resistance movements of terrorist activities.

Iran Press/Iran News: Hojjat-ol-Islam Hashem Heydari said: "The enemies of Islam created the ISIS terrorist group to massacre, loot, and rape innocent people in Muslim countries, but their plot failed in Islamic countries."

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Thursday, Hojjat- ol -Islam Hashem Heydari, the cultural deputy of Iraq's al-Hashed ash-Shabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) said: "On the other hand, Resistance Front and Islamic Republic of Iran stand against ISIS and other plots of the enemies of Islam, and this is the reason for the spread of rumours and propaganda against the Resistance Front."

He added: "Westerners accuse the Resistance Front of engaging in terrorism and supporting terrorists. The Islamic Resistance Front, with the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran, started its armed resistance according to Islam and the enemies of Islam can't bear this."

Speaking to Iran Press on the sideline of Youth Resistance Conference and Commemoration anniversary of Jihad Mughniyah's martyrdom in Qom, central Iran, Hojjat-ol-Islam Hashem Heydari noted that on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic revolution, the impact of this revolution is very clear in Islamic countries.

Heydari added: "Young people in Islamic countries have welcomed the noble ideas and thoughts of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace) and Imam Khomeini's thoughts and Revolution and spreading far and wide."

Turning to the situation in Iraq, Hojjat-ol-Islam Hashem Heydari said thanks to the efforts of young Iraqis, Iraq's security is now assured.
