Iranian foreign minister on Monday received diplomats from UN, New Zealand, Senegal, Kazakhstan, and Japan.

Iran Press/Iran: Iranian foreign minister on Monday received the new UN resident coordinator and UNDP resident representative in Iran.

During the meeting, Mohammad Javad Zarif and Ugochi Daniels conferred on issues of mutual interest.

Iranian foreign minister on Monday  also  received the New Zealand deputy minister of foreign affairs and trade on the same day.

During the meeting, Mohammad Javad Zarif and Jeff Langley discussed implementation of the nuclear deal reached between Iran and the world powers in July 2015. Zarif and Langley conferred on regional issues, including fighting terrorism and extremism.

Also in a separate meeting, the new Senegal ambassador to Iran submitted a copy of his credentials to the Iranian foreign minister.

In the meantime, Zarif attended a farewell ceremony for the outgoing ambassadors of Japan and Kazakhstan in Iran.

The Kazak envoy presented the Order of Friendship to the Iranian foreign minister.

The Order of Friendship is a state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan, introduced in 1995.

It is awarded to individuals for the promotion of international and civil consensus in society and the promotion of peace, friendship and cooperation between peoples.
