Iran Press/Asia: Dr. Abdul Ali Ali Asgari, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) traveled to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, to attend the 55th Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Summit.
The visiting official is to meet with top-ranking delegates of radio and television networks from countries around the world to talk about expansion of media cooperation.
More than 700 top-ranking delegates and top officials of 270 media organizations from 64 countries are attending this year's summit.
A group of senior vice presidents and senior directors are accompanying Dr Ali Asgari on this five-day event.
The visitors from different countries have seen examples of innovative technologies and other items at the exhibition.
The 55th Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union General Assembly and Associated meetings are being held From September 30 to October 5, 2018, in Turkmenistan.
