The Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that The new Lebanese government has to tackle the economic crisis as a priority.

Iran Press/Middle East: Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah in a televised speech via Al-Manar Channel on Monday evening called on the Lebanese various parties to stick to political calm after the cabinet formation.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah added that the Zionist PM is provoking US, European countries and the Persian Gulf states against the Lebanese government, claiming it is controlled by Hezbollah.

Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that the new Lebanese government is not controlled by Hezbollah.

Lebanon agreed on a new government on Thursday, ending months of wrangling between rival political factions that has added to concerns for its struggling economy and massive public debt.

Lebanon has long had a power-sharing political system between the different religious denominations.

The number of seats in parliament is split between Christians and Muslims, and the president, prime minister, and speaker of the parliament must each come from a specific religious background. 105/205
