The Secretary of Iran's Supreme Council of Cyberspace, Abolhassan Firouzabadi, has emphasized that intelligent and smart systems are very important for economic and social developments.

"Having intelligent and smart systems follows economic and social developments in the world so it caught the attention of the scientific community in Iran", Iran's Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace Abolhassan Firouzabadi, said on Sunday in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the sideline of The National Conference on Challenges Facing Intelligent and Smart Systems in Tehran.

Firouzabadi added:  "Wide-ranging research on all aspects of smart cities have been going on in Iran for some time. In contrast, research on 'smart healthcare' is at an early stage and elementary level in the country".

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace said:  "Unfortunately we confronted with some problems to follow this path but by the approval of a document which has been prepared in the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, we expect to see a great achievement in this field."

Firouzabadi aadded:  "The future is bright. Iran with its' young people and its' good academic potential and with its' population will witness a bright future in this field", Iran's Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace concluded.
