Tehran (IP) - Chief of Staff of Iranian president said if Tehran and Paris do not reach a definite agreement in the ongoing negotiations, Iran will take the next step to further reduce the nuclear commitments.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking to journalists after the weekly meeting of the cabinet, Mahmoud Vaezi pointed the visit of the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to Paris, saying the visit had good results and the European side is due to announce its conclusions next week, and we will decide on the next step after reviewing them.

Answering Iran Press question, Vaezi referred to the new US sanctions against the Iranian Space Agency and Iran's Space Research Center, and said that the US sanctions and claims have had no effect on our activities.

He went on to say that reports indicate that the US sanctions over the past five months have led us to make good progress in research and innovation, especially in the space industry.

"We will not back down from our plans," Chief of Staff of Iranian president reiterated.

"US sanctions have given impetus to Iranian researchers and scientists and made them more determined to work hard," he added.101/213
