Yemen (IP) - A member of the Yemeni Political Supreme Council says with regard to the war on Yemen, Saudi Arabia is the main involved party, and negotiations with Saudis are ongoing.

Iran Press/Middle East:  Mohammad Ali al-Houthi wrote on his X page that in the perspective of reaching a comprehensive solution to end the war, the talks should be conducted with the aggressing coalition, the Saudi-led coalition because stopping the aggressions and blockades is in the hands of the coalition.

Saudi Arabia's official news agency (WAS) quoted the country's Foreign Ministry that it has invited a delegation from Sana'a to complete the meetings and talks based on the Saudi initiative announced in March 2021.

Mohammad Ali al-Houthi noted that the talks between Saudi Arabia as the leader of the coalition on one side and Sana'a on the other side are going on with the mediation of Oman.

Al-Houthi emphasized that Saudi Arabia should not be taken into account as a mediator because this country is a main party in the war on Yemen.

The talks revolve around humanitarian cases, Yemeni employees' salaries, reopening of airports and ports, the release of prisoners, withdrawal of foreign forces from Yemeni territory, reconstruction of Yemen, and reaching inclusive political solutions, he said.

The member of Yemen's Political Supreme Council expressed hope that the negotiation would be seriously pursued because it would benefit the people of the two countries and facilitate overcoming the challenges.
