Ali al-Quhum

Member of Yemeni Ansarullah political council denied 'rumors about sending weapons to a country which is under heavy blockade.'

Iran Press/ Middle East: Member of Yemeni Ansarullah political council Ali al-Quhum said on Wednesday that Yemen has been under cruel siege of Saudi Arabia and Emirates from the sea, land, and Air, so it has felt the need to develop and produce strategic weapons and disturbing them in a balanced way which is on the Ansarullah's agenda.

Stressing on the need to curb the rebellion, pride and arrogance of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, member of Yemeni Ansarullah political council said: "Yemen has managed successfully to produce its required weapons and impose its intended deal to the enemies," Iran Press reported.

He added: "The enemy accusations that the Yemeni army receives help from the abroad is just a failed attempt to cover up the military development and increase the strength of the armed forces of Yemen."

"Nations that condemn the self-defense of Yemen's people, just consider their own political interest," Ali al-Quhum continued.

"Yemeni people are the symbol of not surrendering to the US and its devastating plans in Yemen," he stressed.

Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched the war on Yemen in March 2015 with the aim of crushing the Houthis and bringing the Riyadh-backed former regime back to power. They have failed to achieve either of the objectives.
