Tehran (IP) - Yemen’s deputy minister of information has announced that missiles fired by the country’s Armed Forces penetrated the airspace of Israeli-occupied territories without being intercepted.

Iran Press/West Asia: Nasruddin Amer made the statement on Tuesday following an anti-Israel regime missile operation carried out by Yemeni forces. “The pounding of the entity [Israeli regime] continues and the support to Gaza continues,” affirmed Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Amer further warned that Yemen would persist with its attacks, intensifying them as long as the Israeli regime's genocidal war on Gaza continues. “The occupied territories and the Zionist regime won't see security as long as Gaza is insecure,” he cautioned.

The attack underscores Yemen’s unwavering support to the besieged Palestinians in Gaza. Yemen has declared its full backing of Palestine’s resistance against the regime, which launched a massive genocidal assault on the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

Since the onset of the war, which has claimed over 45,000 Palestinian lives, Yemenis have repeatedly targeted Israeli-occupied territories and vessels in strategic waterways, including the Red Sea, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and the Arabian Sea.
