Yemen (IP) - The Spokesman of the Yemeni Army stated on Tuesday night that two US destroyers were targeted in the Red Sea.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Brigadier General Yaya al-Saree said in a statement that the Yemeni army targeted two American destroyers in the Red Sea in response to the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian nation and the US-British aggression on Yemen.

Marine missiles and drones were deployed in the operation against the US destroyers in the Red Sea.

General Saree stressed that the operations would continue until the Israeli regime fully stopped the war and blockade on Gaza.

Since October 7, due to the all-out Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, the death toll in the strip has been increasing, exceeding 30,000 while the children are coping with the starvation caused due to the Israel war and blockade on Gaza.

Committing perpetual crimes against the people of Gaza, the Israeli regime's fighters bombed a truck carrying humanitarian aid to Deir al-Balah on Sunday in central Gaza.

Last week on Thursday, also, at least 81 Palestinians waiting for food aid were killed and 250 wounded after Israeli troops opened fire on a huge crowd of people waiting for food aid southwest of Gaza City, as the besieged enclave faces an unprecedented hunger crisis.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, the US has expressed solidarity with Tel Aviv, providing it with unconditional military, political, and financial support.

Yemeni forces launched their operations against Israeli or Israeli-bound ships in the Red Sea but over the past month, they have intensified attacks on US and British ships in retaliation for the two countries’ aggression against Yemen.

Yemen’s military and government officials have repeatedly warned Washington and London that their actions would not go unanswered, saying Yemen reserves the right to respond to any aggression against its sovereignty.
