Iran Press/ West Asia: Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said that the air defense forces of Yemen shot down an American drone (MQ-9) while it was carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of Saada Governorate, using a locally manufactured surface-to-air-missile.
Also, the naval and missile forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a joint military operation targeting the ship (Groton) in the Gulf of Aden with several ballistic missiles, and the hit was accurate.
The ship was targeted due to the violation of Yemen's ban on the navigation of ships heading to the ports of occupied Palestine to provide the Israeli regime with arms and other supplies.
The Yemeni Armed Forces salute the courageous Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip for 300 days of steadfastness, heroism, and sacrifice in defense of the nation, its pride and dignity, and in triumphing for its sanctities.
The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to carry out its military operations in various stages of escalation, and these operations will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.
