Iran Press/ West Asia: Shortly after the strikes, Hussein al-Azzi, the Deputy Foreign Minister in the Sanaa government, warned that the United States and Britain must be "prepared to pay a high price and bear the severe consequences for their blatant aggression."
On his part, Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Ansarullah political bureau, emphasized that the US and the UK "will soon realize that the direct aggression on Yemen was the biggest folly in their history."
Fadl Abu Taleb, another member of Ansarullah 's political bureau, reiterated Sanaa's assertion that the US-British aggression "will not remain unanswered," warning that the countries of aggression "will bear the consequences and repercussions of it."
Abu Taleb indicated that the latest aggression came "against the backdrop of Yemen's supportive stance for the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression."
He stressed that the US-British aggression will not achieve any results and will not deter the Yemeni people from continuing their support for the Palestinian people.
Earlier, the leader of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, warned that any American aggression on Yemen will not go unanswered, affirming that Sanaa is ready for any confrontation with Washington.
Furthermore, Abdullah bin Amer, the deputy director of the Moral Guidance Department attached to the Ministry of Defense of Yemen, said in Sana'a: "America and Britain should expand their attacks, we will hit their bases in the region."
According to Iran Press, Bin Amer said in an exclusive interview with Al-Jazeera: "Some of our areas were targeted by quick attacks and we will never hesitate to respond to these attacks."
He added: "We have a lot of power and facilities that enable us to legitimately defend ourselves."
This Yemeni military official emphasized: "America and Britain must accept the responsibility for the militarization of the Red Sea."
Amer continued: "Several military bases around Sana'a and Hodeidah have been attacked."

A few hours ago, the United States and Britain targeted several areas of Yemen with numerous attacks.
The Wall Street Journal, quoting an American official, claimed that the US-led coalition carried out more than 12 attacks against Ansarullah positions in Yemen.
This is even though a Pentagon official claimed that 10 targets in Yemen were attacked.
