Iran Press/Middle East: Yemen's military sources announced that dozens of Saudi soldiers were killed on Wednesday night in Jabal al-Doud region of Jizan South West of Saudi Arabia, with a large amount of weapons plundered.
A Saudi-led coalition spy plane was also shot down in the very region by the Yemeni forces, Iran Press reported.
Meanwhile, a Yemeni civilian was killed and one another wounded during the Saudi-led coalition attack on Yemeni city of Hodeidah on Wednesday night.
Jizan, located 967 kilometers southwest of the Saudi capital of Riyadh, has been under the attacks of Yemeni army soldiers and Popular Committees the over the past two days.
Saudi Arabia, with support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, has launched a military invasion of Yemen in March 2015.
The Saudi-led war in Yemen has so far killed more than 16,000 Yemenis, wounded tens of thousands, and displaced millions of Yemenis. The Saudi military aggression has also plagued the poor Yemeni nation with severe food and drug shortages.
The Saudi regime and its allies have so far failed to achieve their goals in this country because of the resistance of the Yemeni people. 104/215/203
