Iran Press/West Asia: In a speech delivered on Thursday, al-Houthi described the attack as one of the most egregious crimes committed by the Israeli regime. He emphasized that the destruction of the hospital has brought its medical services to a complete halt.
“For the fifteenth consecutive month, the Zionist enemy continues to massacre the people of Gaza,” he asserted, underscoring the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the besieged territory.
Calls for Action Against Palestinian Authority
Al-Houthi also called for urgent efforts to stop the attacks carried out by the Palestinian Authority, criticizing its role in the conflict.
The Ansarullah leader further condemned the Israeli regime’s violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty, its attacks on Syrian citizens, and the continued breaches of ceasefire agreements in the region. “The Zionists seek to humiliate and oppress Syrian citizens,” he said, adding that Arab nations are being pushed into internal conflicts by the regime’s divisive strategies.
Tribute to General Qassem Soleimani
On the fifth martyrdom anniversary of General Qassem Soleimani, al-Houthi praised the late Iranian commander for his pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian cause and bolstering resistance forces. He highlighted Iran’s contributions to the Palestinian struggle, noting that its strong opposition to the Israeli regime stems from its identity as part of the Islamic Ummah. “The attacks on Iran are directly linked to its significant role in defending Palestine,” al-Houthi stated.
Missile Strike on USS Truman
Al-Houthi concluded by claiming responsibility for a missile and drone strike targeting the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier. “This week, we struck the American carrier with 11 missiles and drones, thwarting enemy plots against Yemen,” he declared. The attack, according to al-Houthi, forced the U.S. carrier and its fleet to retreat from the Red Sea.
