Iran Press/ West Asia: Brigadier General Yahya Saree said that the Yemeni forces had carried out an operation against the USS Gridley destroyer.
He noted that the missile attack came in support of the oppressed Palestinians and resistance fighters in Gaza and a response to joint American-British aggression against Yemen.
Saree stressed that all US and British warships participating in aggression against Yemen are legitimate targets.
The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized that anti-Israeli operations will continue until Tel Aviv halts its onslaught in Gaza and eases restrictions on humanitarian aid for Palestinians.
Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7.
