Sana'a (IP): In response to the UN Security Council's resolution condemning the attacks on Zionist ships in the Red Sea, the spokesman of Yemen's Movement called it a political game.

Iran Press/ West Asia: According to Iran press report from al-Masira, Mohammad Abdussalam added that it is America itself that violates international laws all over the world.

On the other hand, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, said:

" We call on Israel (regime) to immediately stop all attacks that disrupt the lives of the people of Gaza and undermine the rights, freedoms and peace and security of the region."

He added: "We also call on the  UN Security Council to immediately release 2,300,000 people from the siege (regime) of Israel and America; A siege that has turned into a deadly weapon and has turned Gaza into the biggest prison."

Emphasizing the necessity of defense against injustice, al-Houthi said that what the Yemeni armed forces are doing is within the framework of legitimate defense.

The member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen warned about the consequences of any action against Yemen and added: "We are reminding the people of the world that the decision made regarding the security of shipping in the Red Sea is a political game and America is violating international laws.

The United Nations Security Council approved the resolution proposed by the United States of America and Japan against Yemen's Ansarullah regarding the attacks in the Red Sea without mentioning the main reason for these attacks and Washington's support for the Israeli regime in the bombardment of Gaza.

The United Nations Security Council on January 3rd, 2024, in its first meeting of the new year under the title of "Maintaining international peace and security", addressed the attacks of these days in the Red Sea, which are the result of the Gaza war aimed at  putting   the pressure on the supporters of this regime to stop the incessant bombardment of Gaza is happening, but the US and its allies have become more and more desperate against the attacks of the Yemeni armed forces.

USA, as the main supporter of the Israeli regime in the current war against Gaza, which had previously claimed to form a coalition to counter the operations of the Yemeni army in the Red Sea, before the first meeting of the UN Security Council, together with 12 other countries before the  UN Security Council meeting. Regarding the Red Sea, Washington claimed in a statement that attacks in the Red Sea are a major international problem and unacceptable.

The Yemeni naval forces have warned that they will continue military operations against Israeli enemy ships and interests until its aggressions on Gaza and its crimes against the Palestinian nation are stopped.

Yemen's Ansarullah warns of retaliation against Gaza aid operation

Yemen's Ansarullah popular resistance movement has issued a stern warning that any party attempting to hinder its armed forces' operations will face a swift and decisive response.

The movement's spokesman, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, reiterated this message in a statement released on Wednesday. "Any entity that seeks to obstruct our efforts will not be allowed to operate freely or without consequence," he declared.

At least 23,357 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed, and 59,410 others injured during the war, which the regime launched following an operation staged by the coastal sliver's resistance movements.

The regime has also cut off the flow of basic supplies such as water, electricity, medicines, and fuel, to one of the world's most densely-populated territories that houses over two million Palestinians.

Abdul-Salam said, "We reiterate that the (Yemeni) Armed Forces will continue to target Israeli-linked ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted."

He also addressed the United States' efforts aimed at accusing Yemen of endangering international maritime navigation.

Earlier, the US tried to have the United Nations Security Council ratify a resolution accusing Yemen of such endangering activities.

"International navigation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea is safe, and Americans must stop misleading the world about dangers threatening international navigation in these seas," the Ansarullah official asserted.

"We urge all countries to be cautious of falling into America's trap aimed at militarizing the Red Sea in service of Israel and to encourage it to continue its brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip."

In addition to throwing military and political support behind the war, the US has announced a naval coalition tasked with patrolling the Red Sea in response to Yemeni strikes.
