Geneva(IP)-The vice president of the Palestinian National Council called on Muslims to remember the Palestinian people on Quds Day, especially the residents of the Gaza Strip, who are living with pain and suffering these days.

Iran Press/ Europe: Ali Faysal Musa Hadid, in an exclusive interview with an IranPress correspondent in Geneva, expressed hope that all Muslims would be able to pray in the Al-Aqsa Mosque after the liberation of Palestine and the Holy Quds.

The vice president of the Palestinian National Council stated that the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan has been named Quds Day and called on all Muslim brothers and sisters to remember the Palestinian people, especially the residents of the Gaza Strip, and support them.

At the initiative of Imam Khomeini (RA), the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan has been named World Quds Day to keep the cause of Palestine alive as the first issue of the Islamic world.

International Quds Day is a day when all the Islamic Ummah and freedom lovers of the world support Palestine.
