Iran Press/Africa: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press in Abuja, Sheikh Zakzaky emphasized that victory is not determined by the number of civilian casualties but by the achievement of strategic objectives.
"I know the enemies were hailing what they did as victory but the whole world knew that they have lost. They have lost in the battlefield. Unless of course, mass murder of innocent people is the objectives because that is what they did. In the battlefield, the victory is in the side of Hezbollah resistance and other mujahideen from different parts," he said.
Sheikh Zakzaky, however, emphasized Hezbollah's adherence to ethical principles in warfare, contrasting it with what he described as the disregard for rules and principles by Israeli soldiers. "They (Hezbollah) were on the battle front and they're fighting fighters. They were fighting soldiers not killing civilians. But this enemy who has no regard for life, they are attacking innocent people, attacking places of worship, refugee camps, hospitals, schools, mosques, churches and so on."
Sheikh Zakzaky further said "But in the battlefield, these coward have lost everything. Everybody knows they have lost. So, we congratulate all the resistance, particularly Hezbollah on this victory upon the zionists enemies. This is the beginning of zionists ending by the grace of God."
