Abuja(Ip): The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Abuja, Nigeria has witnessed the flow of diplomats, expressing condolence over the recent terrorist attack.

Iran PressAfrica: The vast number of ambassadors, representatives and high dignitaries from different countries on Tuesday and Wednesday paid a visit to the Iranian Embassy in Abuja to condole over the terrorist attack.

The attack, carried out by the ISIS terrorist group, claimed the lives of nearly 100 with dozens of people wounded.

The attack took place during 4th commemorations of the martyrdom of former Iran's IRGC Quds Forces commander, Lt. General Qassem Soleimani in Kerman martyr's cemetery. 

During the opening of the book of condolences on Tuesday and Wednesday,  ambassadors and representatives of many countries including Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Rwanda, Congo, Guinea, North Korea, Liberia, Tanzania, Vietnam, India, Cuba, Malaysia, Japan, Côte D'Ivoire, Japan, among others, visited the Iranian embassy and signed the book.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, the Ambassador of Vietnam in Nigeria, Bui Quoc  Hung said the good bilateral relations between his country and Iran made him come to extend condolences on behalf of his Government.

"I am here to convey our deepest condolences on behalf of the Vietnamese Government and its people. We like to convey sincere condolences to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and also to the families of the victims of the deadly bombings. And we hope that those who were injured will be recovered very soon. We strongly condemn those who caused the deadly bombings to the very peaceful people in Iran," Hung stated.

"Between Vietnam and Iran, we enjoy very good relations. Good bilateral relations between the two countries exist and we do hope that the wounded victims will recover soon," the ambassador added. 219
