Hamedan (IP) - Hamedan Ganj-Nameh in the heart of Alvand mountain and at the end of Abbas-Abad Valley is a sight to see in autumn.

Iran PressIran news:   Hamedan, in western Iran, is one of the important touristic destinations of the country that, in addition to Ganjnameh, enjoys Lalejin World Pottery City and Alisadr cave. 

Abbas-Abad Valley with its numerous gardens beautiful roads and trees with yellow and orange leaves is the destination of many tourists in autumn.

Ganjnameh is located 12 km southwest of Hamadan (ancient Ecbatana) in western Iran. The site is home to two trilingual Achaemenid royal inscriptions. The inscription on the upper left was created on the order of Achaemenid King Darius the Great (r. 522–486 BC) and the one on the right by his son King Xerxes the Great. 

The two inscription panels of Ganjnameh, carved in stone in 20 lines on a granite rock above a creek, measure 2 × 3 m each.
