Member of Iran's parliament presiding board said Americans make civil discontent and then incite people by their proxy forces.

Iran PressIran news: Member of Iran's parliament presiding board Seyyed Amir Hossein Ghazizade Hashemi on the sideline of today's Parliament open session told Iran Press News Agency: "Americans, on the one hand, make civil discontent by creating International restrictions, and economic and security disturbances. On the other hand, they organize the aliens and their proxy forces with financial resources to incite the people,"

"In other words, they deepen socio-economic problems on the one hand, so that governing body cannot run and develop the country, and on the other hand, they create widespread insecurity in that country," he added.

The member of Iran's Parliament presiding board stressed that the culmination of this attitude has happened towards Iran.

"During these 40 years, especially after the Iran-Iraq war, the US and the Western countries have tried not to allow even one day for the Iranian nation to grow," he said.

He went on to say, "This might be called a coup, similar to what happened on the 1953 coup d'état (known in Iran as the 28 Mordad coup) and now can be seen in Bolivia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Hong Kong, and other countries of the world."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "This is the model that colonialism uses in the modern era to restrict competing governments, bring them down, and give power to puppet governments."205/219
