Iran Press/ Middle East: According to local Palestinian sources, the siren sounded after a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip into the occupied territories, following which the Israeli air defence system was activated.
The Occupied Territories-based Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper also confirmed the missile attack, saying that the city of Sderot had been targeted by missiles.
The Zionist regime's Channel 12 also reported that the Iron Dome system had countered the missile after firing it from the Gaza Strip into Sderot.
This claim seems to have provided the necessary pretext for the Zionist regime to re-attack the Gaza Strip, attacks that are occasionally carried out under false pretenses. 219
