Iran Press/ West Asia: On the occasion of the 4th martyrdom anniversary of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, Ahmad al-Aliyy told Iran Press in an exclusive interview that Martyr Soleimani believes in the Palestinian resistance fighter honor, victory, and resistance against the arrogant nature of the Israeli regime, such that the regime failed to achieve anything in its war on Gaza.
He said that the deep faith of the Palestinian resistance forces is derived from martyr Soleimani's ideology, who only thinks of victory against criminal oppressors.
Al-Alyyi highlighted martyr Soleimani's personality and said the great commander believed in Islam and was steadfast in bringing Muslims honor and dignity.
Soleimani was simple-minded and did not give up working for the pride and honor of Muslims until the last moment of his life, and finally was martyred on the path, the Yemeni minister said.
January 4, 2024, is the 4th martyrdom anniversary of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani the late commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
By the direct order of former US President Donal Trump on January 3, 2020, Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated in Baghdad along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and 8 companions. General Soleimani had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of Iraqi officials.
