Tehran (IP) - Iran's Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-based Economy said that the implementation of the law of knowledge-based production surge will realize the knowledge-based economy.

Iran PressIran news: Tehran Grand Mosalla hosted an exhibition of research and technology achievements from December 11 to 13 in Tehran, and set up exhibitions of Iranian-made products.

Attending the event, Rohollah Dehghani Firouzabadi said: "I believe that if the knowledge-based production surge law becomes effective in 10 years, it can truly realize the knowledge-based economy and reach a significant GDP level."

He said: "Today, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the Ministry of Science, to implement article 13 of the Knowledge-Based Production Surge law, based on which the Ministry of Science, including universities, can spend 2,000 billion Tomans annually from the tax credits of industries and companies in research and technology projects. 219
